MILLS, Terry Foster Jackson

July 12, 1938 - August 21, 2025

Terry Mills, 87, of Beaconsfield, QC—devoted husband, Dad, "Ter," brother, and forever teacher—died peacefully on Thursday, August 21, 2025, surrounded by his children, whom he adored.

Before finding his true calling, Terry held a few adventurous jobs—on the DEW Line, in the Shell control lab, and with a salvage crew on the Saint Lawrence. His path shifted at McGill's Macdonald campus, where he earned a BSc in Agriculture and a teaching certificate, and—most importantly—met Dale. He went on to spend his entire career at Westmount High School, dedicating 34 years to teaching geography, shop, economics, and math. Generations of students left his classroom not just more knowledgeable, but also more curious about the world.
