Westmount High School
Class of 1975
WE DID IT !!!
Over $50,000 was donated by the Class of '75 in honour of the 50 Year Reunion!
In late August 2025, Gawa and Tami visited WHS again to meet with the current principal and his team and to present them with a cheque that brings the total net proceeds of our class gift to $50,107 !
This donation will fund priority needs and enrichment opportunities identified by the Principal, such as upgrades to the school's musical instrument program and revamping its woodworking shop.
THIS LEGACY THAT WE LEAVE WAS MADE POSSIBLE BY SO MANY GENEROUS CLASSMATES AND WE ARE GRATEFUL TO ALL WHO CONTRIBUTED TO THIS CAMPAIGN, IN GREAT OR SMALL WAYS GIVING BACK TO THIS VIBRANT INSTITUTION THAT WAS SUCH AN INTEGRAL PART OF OUR YOUTH.
Today's Westmount High School has a student population of about 840 reflecting the full spectrum of diversity of the greater Montreal area. WHS celebrates this diversity and actively promotes the values of equality, inclusion and respect for fundamental human rights.
The school offers two programs: a regular English program and a French immersion program, in addition to offering Advanced Placement courses to promising students. The student population is also quite varied in behavioral and academic needs. Over 30% of the student population are considered students with special needs who receive additional support with learning, linguistic, and social/emotional challenges.
